You know when someone has that energy when you talk to them that you can't seem to put your finger on to describe, and you simply just FEEL it?
Buckle up for this interview with Ann Marie Cook, President & CEO of Lifespan of Great Rochester, who is fighting to protect, support, advocate for older adults, not only in Rochester, but beyond.
Ann Marie shared that you have to connect with individuals, but do so on an emotional level, which is why she LOVES teaching with stories, sharing a few in the interview that got Tyler and Kevyn fired up!
She shared that one of the best pieces of advice that she has received is that you are going to make a million mistakes, but how quickly you learn from these mistakes is the difference between a good leader and a great one.
Today's world is full of change, which is something Ann Marie is very comfortable with. She said "don't take yourself too seriously" and "let go" more often, but reminded us that every plan "doesn't have to be perfect because it is a start."
